Ichiura

Developed and maintained the corporate website for Ichiura Housing & Planning, a renowned Japanese consultancy specializing in housing and urban development. The project aimed to modernize the company’s online presence while maintaining its professional identity and trustworthiness in the architectural and planning industry.

The website was built on WordPress Core, leveraging Custom Post Types (CPT) and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to structure complex data such as project portfolios, company services, and news updates. This modular approach allowed administrators to easily manage dynamic content without coding.

The frontend was crafted using HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS, ensuring a clean, scalable, and maintainable codebase. Attention was given to responsive design principles to guarantee seamless viewing experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

The project emphasized SEO optimization, accessibility compliance, and UX-driven layout design, improving site visibility and engagement. Design and layout were refined to reflect the brand’s minimalist, professional tone with intuitive navigation and clearly defined information hierarchy.

Performance optimization included asset minification, image compression, and server-level caching to enhance page loading speed and Core Web Vitals scores. The development process followed clean code practices, modular WordPress componentization, and proper naming conventions to support long-term scalability and efficient content updates.
